Projects by Neil Folberg from 2016 to the present.

Uplift 2024 to present
Uplift is a geological process by which buried rock is raised to create new landforms. This
series of photographs regards altered landforms once submerged deep beneath ancient oceans as a metaphor for
strength acquired through the metamorphic process of transformation.

White Winds 2017 to present
Minimalist landscapes set in the expanses of the southwestern USA, Iceland & the deserts of Israel

Taking Measure 2016-2017
Folberg traveled to the North Atlantic to photograph a solar eclipse.
He experienced the enormity of this natural phenomenon but was unable to see the full eclipse due to cloudy skies. The unseen eclipse became a visual metaphor with which he began a journey, taking measure of himself and the external
phenomena (photographed in Iceland).
