Portfolio “And I Shall Dwell Among Them: Historic Synagogues of the World”

This is a portfolio of twelve prints by Neil Folberg published by Vision Editions with Aperture Press from the series & book commissioned by Aperture "And I Shall Dwell Among Them: Historic Synagogues of the World". Intended to be an edition of 50 copies, only 26 were made due to the discontinuance of the Evercolor pigment process. Evercolor consists of 4 layers of pigments adhered in register on a stable cellulose base. It was a revival of the 19th century Carbro process in 4 colors using digital technology and produced the finest color prints ever made to archival quality. This set is the last of two complete sets available from the original edition.
